We arrived in warm sunshine and what a wonderful cottage - a real home from home....the scenery on this coast fantastic as we have found from previous visits. We have found the beds very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils and pots - all we could need.....we very much liked the quiet here and beautiful woodland walk by the river.... Spotted our first seal on the second day
Wow! What a cottage - what a coastline and what a great holiday we have had. Daily walks on the coastal path where coastline changes as you go. Lots of seal and seal pup sightings. Some big waves crashing over the rocks and some canoeing in the bay. Thank you very much. I am sure we will be back.
Location, location, location. Great walking and canoeing from house, no need for car, lovely garden. Such a relaxing property. Cool in heat - very warm when heating was needed. Everything we needed and all of high quality.
We have had a lovely restful fortnight in Y Fagal. It is so quiet here. We have enjoyed watching the swallows darting in and out of the barn. Poppit Sands has been our beach of choice. The Bay to remember boat trip was a lot of fun with plenty of birds and seals to see.
We've had an excellent week here relaxing. Excellent walks, excursions to Aberystwyth and St Davids, plus sea kayaking from the inlet down the road. Already thinking about next year. Facilities at the cottage are excellent. Saw a seal in the bay yesterday, thank you for supplying a sewing basket!
Lovely cottage, beautiful location, great weather, fab holiday. Gorgeous sunsets in the bay. So peaceful and quiet.
Couldn't want for anything more, location, cottage and weather. Thank you
This is our first time staying in Pembrokeshire and we have fallen in love with it. We absolutely love the cottage and its superb view. Ceibwr Bay is a very special place and we loved early morning walks and sunsets down there with the dogs. We will definitely be back.
Lovely cottage very comfortable and well equipped - great to come back to after a long walk.
We have enjoyed our week in this spacious, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Had 3 barbecues in the garden, so peaceful, only the birdsong by the sea and spectacular scenery..........hope to return.
27th April – 4 May 2019 Wonderful time had by all, we seem to keep coming back to this beautiful bay. Again lots of walking and cosy evenings - the bluebells up the valley are gorgeous Thank you so much, we'll be back.
'Once again thank you for a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. We've had a great time despite the very wet weather. We've managed quite a bit of walking and saw lots of wildlife’. Mrs Harris
Well equipped, comfy cosy and in an outstanding location. We’ve been coming to Pembrokeshire for nearly 20 years but have not been in this particular spot before – so peaceful and relaxing . ‘ Fantastic cottage, thank-you Saward family, Grandma Pearson, dogs, buddy and Dexter, Farnborough.
'Lovely stay and weather perfect. Place ideal for plenty of walking and very comfy to come home to after a long day. '
Couldn’t wait to get here and Y Fagal didn’t let us down! From walking in to a homely, clean and well-furnished holiday cottage to the day we left, everything has been perfect. Windy, grey weather but it didn’t stop our holidaying
‘8 - 15 September 2018 'The cottage did not let us down! As 3 'old uns' 2 of us have been coming to the area for over 40 years, mainly Newport Bay. We have brought our children, they have brought their children and we have all returned many times. The cottage was 'perfect' for us now. 'No Stairs' 2 toilets and lots of room. Thank you for offering us such a lovely place to holiday. We shall certainly come again. Thank you.
18 – 25 August, 2018 We had a marvellous time here, lots of outdoor activities such as walking to Poppit Beach and going to Witch’s Pol and visiting the Blue Lagoon (and some jumping!). What a hidden gem.....Barbara, Pete, William and Murdo,
What a great place to stay – wonderful views. Will definitely come again! Thank-you
The most beautiful cottage, thank-you. Have had a wonderful week. Recommend the garden centre cafe to refuel after visits to all the lovely beaches. Perfect weather too!
We treasured our time in this lovely cottage and beautiful landscape, thank you for looking after us, we will be back!
What a wonderful holiday cottage, immaculate with beautiful views. Great to have two bathrooms, lovely kitchen. Very many thanks for a brilliant stay.
The space, the equipment, the comfort, and 1st class location made our 30th wedding anniversary a memorable one. Having two bathrooms was perfect too. Our three dogs also enjoyed the walks, playing on the beach and just lazing round Y Fagal on a hot, overcast day or just in holiday mode. We will be back. Thank you for sharing this special place.
We treasured our time in this lovely cottage and beautiful landscape. Thank you for looking after us - We will be back!

We have had a wonderful week. The cottage is in a fantastic location. There are some great walks along the coast but also down the road opposite the beach. Lovely clean, comfy warm cottage. A great find.
Lovely cottage in an amazing location. Equipped with everything we could need and lovely to have lots of space to relax. Great to have such a spacious main room and kitchen, I am sure we’ll be back – probably with more of the family in tow! We’ve enjoyed some great walks in the area and love visiting the Teifi Estuary Nature Reserve accessed from Cilgerran. Thank you again.
If you like the sea it's virtually in it. If you like west Wales it's actually in it and if you like houses you can totally stay in it. Thank you
